With just more than 100 days to go until the Winter Olympic are set to start in Beijing, Team Canada unveiled the new athlete kits from Lululemon, the organization’s official outfitter.
This is what Canada’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be wearing in February and March next year.
The Vancouver-based athletic company kept things sleek and simple with a look that was sporty and inviting without going over the top.
“The look and the outfits, it’s honestly just Canada reimagined,” said Para alpine skier Frederique Turgeon.
This is the first kit as part of the collaboration between the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian athleisure company Lululemon that’s set to clothe Canada’s athletes through the 2028 Olympics and Paralympics in Los Angeles.
David Shoemaker, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee, stated the strength of the kit release showed why the COC partnered with Lululemon.
“This mesmerizing athlete kit — that you can see from the joy in the athletes — is exactly what we wanted and it will mark a new chapter for the Canadian Olympic Committee,” he said.
Lululemon takes the lead after Hudson’s Bay’s 16-year run as Canadian outfitter recently came to an end.

The full red and white kits include many pieces that Team Canada says are “intended to be layered, combined, and modified by the athletes to suit their personality and their personal needs when it comes to staying warm or staying cool.
As much as the Olympic Games are a moment of unity, the kit permits the athletes to showcase their individuality.”
