Viktor "Isildur1" Blom Wins Over $900K

(pokernews.com)- High-stakes Swedish poker superstar Viktor “Isildur1” Blom crushed the nosebleed competition on PokerStars last week by winning $909,004.
The week didn’t start off strong for Blom despite him notching early wins. According to HighStakesDB, Blom lost approximately $180,000 on Wednesday to the hands of Dutch poker pro“Ravenswood13” at the $1,000/$2,000 limit Omaha hi/lo (FLO8) tables.
Things turned around quickly for Blom over the weekend though. After winning $241,000 on Friday at numerous $400/$800 mixed-game tables, Blom was in shape to end the week with a mid six-digit win with approximately $350,000 in total profits. However, he wasn’t finished

Saturday was a day to remember for the Swedish pro, who won $554,200. Early in the day, Blom won over $250,000 in the $200/$400 pot-limit Omaha tables at the expense of Finland’s Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro and “Ravenswood13.” Despite losses in this match, Kelopuro still ended the week with $107,096 in profit thanks to winning $192,000 later in the day.
Blom went on to notch over $200,000 in profit against “Ravenswood13” in what was a swingy back-and-forth match before winning another $147,000 against Sean “WithColor” Rafael in heads-up play.
While Blom had a week to remember, he has a far way to go to break into an overall profit according to HighStakesDB. Blom is down $326,000 all-time since the site began tracking him at the end of 2010 and down a far more significant $4.74 million on Full Tilt since the end of 2009.
