After nine more levels and a whole host of players, Day 1b of the 2014 partypoker World Poker Tour United Kingdom Main Event has finished
After a slow start to Day 1b of the 2014 partypoker World Poker Tour UK Main Event, where a huge overlay looked to be on the cards, 239 entries were taken in total leaving the total attendance at 333 and leaving the guarantee a mere £1,000 short. After nine levels of intense poker action, Fred Wise bagged up 215,100 chips to top the Day 1b chip counts and lead the tournament overall.

Keeping wise company at the top of the chip counts were some of the most recognisable players from the United Kingdom. Reigning Unibet open London champion Pratik Ghatge finished with a most respectable 173,400 chips while the likes of Chris Moorman (165,200), Tamer Kamel (149,200), William Chattaway (134,200) and Keith Johnson (103,500) also progressed to Day 2 with healthy stacks.
Also punching their Day 2 ticket were such luminaries as Matas Cimbolas(152,100), former November Niner Sylvain Loosli (132,000), former European Poker Tour (WPT) Barcelona winner Tom Middleton (102,500), Sin Melin(99,400), Ben Warrington (88,900), David Nicholson (82,300), Simon Deadman (82,200), Oliver Price (81,300), Jack Ellwood (70,100), Ilan Boujenah (66,900), Stephen Chidwick (65,400), Charles Chattha (63,300),David Vamplew (62,600), Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott (56,000), Zimnan Ziyard(51,500), Craig McCorkell (37,500), and the new owner of Main Event Travel Fraser MacIntyre (17,200) among others.
