Jake Bazeley Wins WSOP Circuit Harrah's Cherokee Main Event

After three days of play The 2014/2015 World Series of Poker Circuit recently completed its $1,675 Main Event at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina, a tournament that attracted 797 entries and created a prize pool of $1,195,500.
Jake Bazeley, a long-time circuit pro, emerged victorious to capture the $239,096 first-place prize, the gold championship ring, and a seat into the season-ending National Championship.

In addition to the title, the hardware and the money Bazeley also earned 912 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was his fourth final table appearance so far in 2014 with the previous highlight being a fourth-place finish in the $5 million guaranteed $3,500 World Poker Tour main event at the SHR Poker Showdown in April for $371,931.
With this win Bazeley increased his POY point total for the year to 2,190 points, which was enough to move him into 47th place in the overall standings. His year-to-date earnings for 2014 total $671,235.
