After an action-packed Day 4, the final table of the Legends of Poker Main Event is set.
The final 16 players of the 2014 World Poker Tour Legends of Pokerreturned to the Bicycle Casino on Thursday looking to reach one of the WPT’s most prestigious final tables.
Day 4 began with 16 of the original 593 entries in contention for the $576,369 top prize. Tyler Kenney led the way when the action resumed, but Jeremy Kottler shot into the lead early when he eliminated Huy Lam in 16th place.
Following Lam out the door were Joe Szegendy (15th – $19,420), Dylan Wilkerson (14th – $19,420), Gene O’Leary (13th – $19,420), Jimmy Lee (12th – $24,816) and Anthony Tao (11th – $24,815), leaving 10 players to combine into the unofficial final table.
Andy Frankenberger was the biggest name left in the field, but unfortunately for the former WPT Player of the Year he was eliminated on the first hand.

When Day 4 play began, there were 16 players left in the field, including two past Champions, Andy Frankenberger and Keven Stammen. Both of the winners had a chance at WPT history today, but came up a little short. Frankenberger, who won this event in Season X, was looking to become the first player to win the same WPT event twice. Stammen was looking for back-to-back titles and a chance at becoming the first reigning WPT World Champion to make a televised final table.
Neither were able to reach their goals though. Frankenberger exited in 10th place. Stammen was knocked down to just five big blinds at one point and managed to put together an impressive rally, but he missed out on the final table, finishing in eighth place.
The final table action gets underway on Friday at 4pm PT. We’ll be on hand to bring you every single hand of final table action, so be sure to tune back in for up to the minute reports from the floor.
